How to Fix JBL Clip 2 Speaker Not Charging

Reset JBL Clip 2

When JBL Clip 2 is not properly charging then it needs to be reset. 

Further, if it also has other problems like low sound volume, not good frequency, and does not connect to different devices so reset solves these problems too. 

Another function of reset is to make the speaker fresh and delete the all Bluetooth pairing list. 

The process to reset JBL Clip 2 Speaker is as follows. 

1. Turn on the speaker. 
2. At the same time press and hold the volume plus and call button for 5 seconds. 
3. After 5 seconds,  the booming sound you would hear from a speaker. A light that shows the speaker is turned on will flash.
4. After this JBL Clip 2, Speaker automatically powers off and you will need to turn it on again.
5. Now, in the JBL Clip 2, all settings are back to their default and it has successfully been reset.

Now you should plug the charger into it and see whether or not it is charging.

Check your charging cable for the bends or fracturing in the wire.

The charging port is another issue that causes the speaker not to charge. Sometimes JBL Clip does not charge due to the bad charging port or dirt in it.

The charging port replacement is a tough method but usually, we can smoothly use the following steps to remove dirt from it.  

1. Unplug the USB Port from the speaker. 
2. Check for dirt and debris in the charging port.
3. Pull out the debris with a fine needle. 

If the connecter pins are bent, then there is a final way to change the port with a new one. Because the first one is unable to charge the speaker. 

If the charging port is damaged by water so you can use the dryer to remove the moisture.
