  2. Then press and hold the volume + and play button at the same time for more than 2 seconds.
  3. After a few seconds, the white light will flash around the power and Bluetooth buttons, and then the Speaker automatically powers off. Before it the powered off it releases a sound. 
  4. Now we will again turn on the JBL Charge 5, for this press the power button again. 
  5. The Speaker will turn on instantly in pairing mode, inside the Bluetooth button light will shine on and off, and the speaker make a short ring message. It means, now the JBL Charge 5 speaker is successfully reset.

Clean charger and charging port

If the JBL Charge 5 won’t charge it might be caused by dirt in the charging cable or charging port.
